Sewing area size effectively limits the size of patch you'll be able to do, and also the number of patches you will be able to fit into a hoop. Some machines come with a hoop that is larger than their sewing area. Since you want to do 10-50 patches a day, I'd recommend finding the one with the largest sewing area.
